Our history
Origins of an authentic love
Our story began in the 1950s, in Civitanova Marche, by the great dreamer and founder of the farm Lauro Mei. Together with his sons Alderico and Enzo, he ventured into sharecropping by purchasing a small five-hectare farm with three Marche cows.
Already expert breeders, with the Marche breed in their hearts, the Mei family began to undertake the all-round farming activity. With sacrifice and entrepreneurial spirit, they succeeded in growing the business over the years, investing all possible resources to increase the breeding heritage and finally bringing the company to very high levels in terms of both quality and production.

Freshness and authenticity strictly at 0 km
Within a short radius of a few kilometres is our entire production. This ranges from the fields that provide the fodder that makes up the feed for our herd, to the production of vegetables and meat from 0 km that are sold directly in the shop or that are part of the raw materials for the braceria menu.

Breeding
We guarantee the highest quality and well-being for each animal
Our farm boasts a herd of over 440 pure-bred Marchigiana cattle in selection with a high genetic value, reared in semi-wild stabling with a closed cycle cow/calf line.
We are proud to say that ours is a sustainable cattle farm, where cattle are born and raised respecting all biological phases of life. Every single animal is cared for, fed and bred conscientiously respecting nature's real timing and according to the teachings of the sharecropper life of yesteryear.
